  11. She used to say call me SARA not SARAH, it was an inside joke but from then till now, I've seen her grow as a person and the love that emits for what she does makes me very proud of her, afterall you can't spell "Heart without art".

  12. Hello,
Few people impress me, or even leave a strong impression on the first encounter, and your one of those few.
Cheers for being such an interesting person, with a lovely view on life, and a passion for enjoying it.
And most certainly, cheers for being such a true photographer with "soul", I'm sure your hardwork will pay off, because your talent and passion for photography is truely something.
I hope that nothing alters that spirit of yours, but you manage to change others... Looking forward to more encounters in the near future..

  13. hi Sara,
Thanks for sharing some of your experiences with me on the flight from Barcelona to Amsterdam - where you would change flights to go east again... (hope your flight/trip further was ok).
The work of the children you showed is amazing and the effort you put into this is really wonderful. I wish everybody, including myself, was as giving to the world as you are. The education you give these children will teach them, and the world, we need to give and share, not fight. You are a living example.
Keep up the good work with lots of success!
    Cheers, Leon

  14. Sara:

Just peeked into your website just now. You are doing such remarkable things with these children in bringing out their talent! It's amazing how this idea you told me about a couple years ago has blossomed into something that has gotten the world's attention - teaching children a skill that they can actually use their imagination. Imagination and creativity has been lost in video games and sadly war. Not only are you bringing joy and peace into these little ones lives, but you are making a postive impact on them by being a positive role model and just being there for them. Keep up the excellent work and hope you're able to come and exhibit their pictures in Omaha!

  15. Your Children are not Your Children

They are the sons and daughters of life's longing for itself.
They come through you but not from you,
And though they are with you yet they belong not to you.

You may give them your love but not your thoughts,
For they have their own thoughts.
You may house their bodies but not their souls,
For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow,
which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams...

Show them the world from a different sense, or lense..

  18. Hello Sara,

I read about your "Capturing Neverland" project in the March Egypt Today article and just took a look at the children's photos on your website.

I'm very impressed with your maturity and vision, as well as, with the quality and insightfulness of the photos the children produced.

I hope you are pleased with the results and the confidence you've no doubt instilled in these young people.

Your encouragement will give them a chance to forge a new identity (by being heard) in a society that may otherwise marginalize them. This chance could very well change the course of their lives. For this you should be proud.

It would be lovely to see the work presented in Toronto and elsewhere in North America.

Wishing you plenty of continued success.
